The short version
- No one at mindbreak reads your conversations.
- Your conversations, birth details and charts are stored encrypted.
- They are used only to answer you. Never for advertising, never sold.
- The AI behind LEA (Anthropic) doesn't train on them and deletes them within 30 days.
- You can download or delete everything at any time, in Profile and settings.
Who is responsible
LEA is part of mindbreak, my sole proprietorship:
mindbreak
CVR 44869535
Holmsland Klitvej 10
6960 Hvide Sande
Denmark
If you have a question about your data, write to me at hello@mindbreak.co.
What I store
- Your email address, so you can log in with a one-time code. No password is stored.
- Your birth details: name, name at birth (optional), birth date, time, place and gender (optional). Encrypted.
- Your charts, calculated from your birth details. Encrypted.
- Your conversations with LEA, so you can return to them. Encrypted.
- Your consent: when you agreed to this policy.
- Payments: the amount and date. Card details are handled only by Stripe; I never see them.
- Usage numbers: how many questions you asked, what each answer cost, and whether you opened a suggested recording. These never include what you wrote.
The encryption key is kept separately from the stored data, so a copy of the database alone can't be read. There is no screen or tool where I or anyone at mindbreak can read your conversations, and I don't look at them.
Personal topics
Your conversations may touch on your feelings, relationships or health. That is sensitive information under data protection law (GDPR article 9). I only process it with your explicit consent, which you give when you enter your birth details, and only to give you your reading. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your data in Profile and settings.
How LEA answers you
LEA's answers are written by Claude, an AI made by Anthropic. To answer a question, your charts and the conversation are sent to Anthropic over an encrypted connection. Your name and email are not sent.
Anthropic doesn't use this data to train its AI. It deletes it within 30 days, except where its automated safety systems flag a conversation as a possible breach of its usage policy; then it may be kept for up to two years. See Anthropic's data retention and training policy.
Who else processes data for me
These companies process data on my behalf, under data processing agreements, and only for the purpose described:
- Render hosts LEA. Your data is stored on Render's servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Render is a US company certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, with the EU standard contractual clauses as a fallback.
- Anthropic writes LEA's answers, as described above. My contract is with Anthropic Ireland Ltd. Where data goes to Anthropic in the USA, the EU standard contractual clauses apply.
- Resend sends your login codes by email. It receives only your email address and the code. Resend is a US company certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Stripe handles payments. For payments, Stripe is largely responsible for your data itself, under its own privacy policy. Stripe is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) finds the coordinates of the birthplace you type. Only the place name is sent from my server, never who it belongs to.
Cookies
LEA uses one cookie, which keeps you logged in. It is strictly necessary, so no consent banner is needed. There is no tracking, no advertising and no analytics, and the fonts are served from LEA's own server.
How long I keep your data
- Until you delete it. "Delete my data" removes your account, birth details, charts and conversations straight away.
- Accounts that haven't been used for two years are deleted automatically.
- Payment records are kept for as long as Danish bookkeeping law requires, without your conversations or birth details.
Age
LEA is for people aged 18 and over.
Your rights
You can see everything stored about you ("Download my data" in Profile and settings), and ask me to correct, delete or restrict it. You can also take it with you, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. If you think I'm not handling your data properly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).
What LEA is and isn't
LEA offers reflection based on symbolic systems: astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, BaZi and numerology. It is not therapy, and not medical, legal or financial advice. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services (112 in Denmark) or a crisis line such as Livslinien on 70 201 201.
